Dr Taguchi constructed a special set of orthogonal arrays to layout the experiments to measure not only the effect of a factor understudy on the average results but also to determine the variation from the average result.
Foundation for designing an experiment using Taguchi methodology is the “orthogonal array”.
The orthogonal array is so efficient in obtaining only a relatively small amount of data and being able to translate it into meaningful and verifiable conclusions.
Presented at different forums in India, Pakistan, and Dubai.
